Food & drink prices at Barefoot Eco Hotel

F&B pricing is a mixed value proposition: alcohol is completely unavailable, bar food is poor quality and overpriced, but full board packages may offer good value relative to à la carte costs.

MixedStrong evidence·based on 5 reviews

No significant temporal pattern detected. The no-alcohol policy is consistent across reviews from 2018, 2026, and an undated 2018 review. Bar food complaints are from 2017. The recency of the 2026 complaint about alcohol availability suggests the policy remains in effect."

No alcohol of any kind is served at the hotel, eliminating sunset drinks and evening beverage options entirely.

Bar food offerings are criticized for poor quality and low variety, with specific examples of overpriced industrialized dishes (USD 12 pasta box).

Juice bar drinks are not included in half or full board packages, requiring additional out-of-pocket spending.

Full board appears to offer reasonable value relative to à la carte bar snack pricing, suggesting meal packages mitigate high ancillary costs.
