PositiveStrong evidence·based on 18 reviews

All claims are from 2025–2026, clustering heavily in May–July 2026 (15 of 18 claims). The most recent and most detailed positive claims (powdery white beaches, crystal-clear water, incredible house reef) are from April–July 2026, indicating sustained positive conditions over the review period with no evidence of deterioration.

Sand quality is exceptional—fine, powdery, and flour-like, with explicit comparison showing Kurumba's sand is cleaner and more walkable than other Maldivian islands that suffer from dead coral debris.

Water is crystal clear with a safe, delightful bathing lagoon and an incredible house reef for snorkeling.

Beach is substantial, described as surrounding the island and providing beautiful vistas without visible breakwater infrastructure.

The property delivers a 'real', genuinely appealing beach that stands out as a genuine strength—no artificial or compromised elements noted.

Consistent praise from diverse international reviewers (Russia, India, Saudi Arabia, Romania, Cyprus, New Zealand) with no reported downsides or seasonal variations.

At Kurumba, that's what they are. This is far from the case everywhere in the Maldives. We've been to islands where there's a lot of dead klorals on the beach and you can't walk without shoes. But Kurumba is doing great. The sand is fine and countable.
