Beach at Nora Buri Resort & Spa
The resort lacks a genuine sandy beach. Multiple recent reviewers confirm the beachfront consists primarily of rocks rather than sand, making it unsuitable for swimming or leisurely walking.
All claims are recent, spanning March 2025 to July 2026. The consistent rocky beach complaint appears across this entire recent window, with no improvement noted over time. This suggests the issue is persistent and ongoing rather than a temporary condition.
What the reviews tell us
Beach composition is rocky rather than sandy, unsuitable for swimming and walking
Resort photographs misrepresent the beach as sandy when it is actually rocky
No genuine sandy beach area at the property; would require significant remediation
One reviewer found beachfront acceptable but not exceptional
Nora Buri Resort & Spa does not offer the appealing sandy beach experience one would expect from a beachfront property. Multiple independent reviewers from diverse locations have consistently reported that the beach area is composed of rocks rather than sand, contradicting promotional imagery. Reviewers emphasize that the rocky shoreline is not functional for typical beach activities—neither swimming nor walking are practical. One Romanian guest explicitly noted the resort's lack of a proper beach setup and suggested major remediation would be needed (removing large stones and importing sand). While one vague review described the beachfront as "good but not wow," this appears to be an outlier against the preponderance of evidence. The consensus across recent reviews (spanning April 2025 through July 2026) is that this property's primary weakness is the absence of a usable, sandy beach despite its beachfront positioning.
One positive review contradicts dominant negative consensus
Claim 247718 describes the beachfront as "good but not wow," appearing to stand apart from the four other claims (239243, 240866, 252970, 254694) that explicitly state the beach is rocky, not sandy, and unsuitable for use. However, even this vague positive review does not confirm the presence of quality sand or dispute the rocky composition—it merely offers a softer assessment. The preponderance of detailed, specific negative evidence heavily outweighs this single non-committal observation.
The evidence
Representative quotes from 5 supporting reviewsThe resort should try to arrange a beach area, drag out all the big stones, bring sand, and have a proper beach
My only disappointment in this hotel was the beach. Basically there wasn't one. The pictures are very clever and it looks like a nice sandy beach. Its actually rocks and not a good beach. Not good for walking or swimming
