the range of vegetarian and vegan options, the carefully designed theme nights
The resort features prominent vegan and plant-based choices across multiple dining venues, highlighted by a "Keen on Green" concept that prominently displays vegan dishes at the start of every menu. Guests consistently praise the breadth of vegan options at breakfast and dinner, specialty vegan desserts and ice cream, and the kitchen staff's proactive approach to customizing dishes. However, two guests on TripAdvisor reported disappointment with vegan food quality, and one noted concerns about ingredient segregation between vegan and non-vegan food preparation, suggesting mixed experiences despite the hotel's strong plant-based offerings.

Lots of choices and have vegan/ gluten free option.
One of the reasons that we first came to Lux*, and one of the reasons we continue to return is the excellent vegan and vegetarian food options.
They have some very nice varied options of food for vegan/vegetarian people as well.
A good choice for everyone, even vegans.
the speculoos, vanilla and vegan chocolate ice cream are a must try!

The vegan food is excellent but you still have to explain what vegan food is.

My husband is a vegan and he had a disappointing time eating there!
For instance, I had mentioned that I'm Vegan and Gluten Free - so the waiters and staff were always offering options and alternatives for me. The chef went as far as making dishes requested specifically for my needs during my trip. Oh! They have AMAZING Vegan & GF bread that I just binged on the entire trip.
The staff catered to my lactose intolerance for all meals with things like dairy free waffles at breakfast, vegan ice cream at their very pretty ice cream parlour on the beach and if there was an item I wished to order that had dairy in it, the chef would make adjustments ensure I could eat what I wanted.
LUX really caters to this! The home brewed coffee and ice cream shop are really special
The breakfast buffet was one of the best I have ever seen! I'm vegan and the variety of veg options blew my mind! Excellent coffee (soy or almond milk available), coconut tofu yogurt, homemade nut butters such as almond, hazelnut, peanut butter, fresh fruits, hummus, baba ganoush, from pita bread to gluten free breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, croissants, a variety of seeds, nuts and herbs, such as maca powder, tiger nuts, chia seeds, nutritional yeast, whey protein powder, homemade granola bars, pressed juices, homemade kombuchas...
Being vegan they cooked us the most amazing meals!!! Most days, for dinner, we left it in their capable hands and was always served the most delicious plant based food
so many options in lunch and dinner even for pure vegetarian peoples loved the vegan desserts they had
We were very happy with their vegan options so it became a regular occurrence.
I am vegan and the special attention given to me to make sure I had vegan choices to eat. Every single chef made me a special vegan dish without me even asking.
I am vegan and was worried it would be an issue. When I discovered this place on Instagram and saw they had vegan food I was so excited! And let me tell you, they truly cater for all dietary requirements!
As a vegan the kitchen staff were knowledgeable and the chefs were very keen to help adapt dishes to particular requirements. Full marks.
there are a lot of great options for vegetarians/vegans/health conscious travellers, and if there is something non-veggie/vegan on the menu just ask and they will probably make it veggie/vegan for you
Everyone gets their money's worth here, whether vegan, fish, seafood, steak, or numerous salads.
choosing vegan means no compromise on flavour
One of the primary reasons we love it here is the choice of food and in particular vegetarian and vegan food. There is lots of choice, clearly marked on the menus in every restaurant which makes it so easy to navigate the options. Our favourite restaurant is Senses, who do a wonderful vegan Thali.
Their 'Keen on Green' concept means that vegan, veggie and plant based dishes are not only on every menu, but they're right at the start of the menus
Daminda. This mans smile lights up a room, and will go over and above to see that your dietary needs are met, whether it's vegan, veg, pescatarian, or any allergies, they can customize food for you for a great dining experience.
One of the reasons we chose Lux was it's emphasis on plant based menus. The A La Carte menus are very good in that they have symbols for both Vegans and Vegetarians but there doesn't appear to be any segregation of meat and non meat products in the cooking process.
We also loved ICI the ice cream shop with vegan and sugar free options
I was disappointed with the food quality in general and for me in particular as a vegan
Another mention is the vegan food at Lux which is also a large contributing factor to us returning again and again.
