Following a vegan diet, we were thrilled with how Chef Min adapted every meal…
The resort demonstrated strong kitchen flexibility for vegan guests who engaged directly with culinary staff. Positive reviews highlighted Chef Min's outstanding adaptations at breakfast with exotic fruits and fresh juices, executive chef Gurav C.'s willingness to accommodate vegan and gluten-free requests, and staff coordination of custom vegan course menus and multi-restaurant vegan entrée options. However, guests also noted that vegan options were not prominently featured on regular menus—with only The Island Kitchen consistently offering vegan choices, while The Pearl and Hawker lacked dedicated vegan menu items. This pattern appeared across TripAdvisor (7 on-topic claims) and Google (1 positive claim), indicating the resort's strength in personalized accommodation despite limited standard menu offerings.

Following a vegan diet, we were thrilled with how Chef Min adapted every meal to our needs — the attention and creativity were outstanding. Breakfasts were especially memorable, with an amazing variety of fresh exotic fruits and delicious fresh juices.
However, after consulting with chef in person, a very thoughtful vegan course menu was created for destination dining. My husband had multiple vegan entree options at every restaurant.

They almost had no options for vegan on the menu. But shaha really looked after us. She helped coordinate with chef to make us Indian curry and vegan naan bread. This was our favourite.
Although we had some dietary restrictions due to religious/health reasons (i.e. vegan, gluten-free) the kitchen staff, led by executive chef Gurav C. and his culinary team, were more than willing to accommodate our requests and prepared several excellent and mouth watering dishes for us without hesitation.
There was a large breakfast buffet with a good variety whether you prefer vegan, Asian or eggs and bacon.
The negative thing about the restaurant is their lack of vegetarian/vegan options. The Island Kitchen is the only place with veg/vegan options. The Pearl have no vegetarian/vegan options and Hawker doesn't have veg/vegan options for their dinner menu
